Opening for the intake of new students in September 2011, the Salon Educators Academy offers a second to none learning experience matching that of top hairdressing salons in London, New York and Milan. Situated in Tiffany Tower in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lake Towers district, the high tech facilities and contemporary design combine form and function, making it an inspired place to learn.

The salon has been fitted with stylish, state-of- the-art furniture from Italian salon specialists Salon Ambience and products from L’Oreal Professional, used by hair professionals in salons throughout the world.

The Salon Educators Academy will be home to an Education Team headed by Deborah Whitehead and Steve Turner teaching City & Guilds IVQ courses combining practical classroom tuition and work experience, with additional support from the high quality online hairdressing tutorials from MyHairDressers.com.

Additional workshops and courses led by Steve Turner will feature guest tutors from MyHairDressers.com including Stacey Broughton, Callam Warrington and Charmaine Piche.

Education Director Deborah Whitehead said, “The Academy encapsulates the Salon Educators principles of excellence and providing vocational training. The students absorb a working salon mentality so feel more comfortable and confident in the salon when they begin employment.”

Steve Turner, Creative Director of Salon Educators said, “This is a world class learning centre situated in a beautiful building in a beautiful city. Providing the right environment is instrumental in providing high quality education. Students perform better, and are more likely to achieve their goals and become qualified hairdressers.”
