Salon Educators has developed a range of courses and workshops to give hairdressers of all abilities and experience a boost in their skills and techniques.

Led by Education Director Steve Turner, the courses cover the Principles of Cutting and Colouring, Creative Cutting and Colouring and Dressing and Styling Long Hair. The courses last between one and three days and will be available throughout the year. There is also a reception and management course ideally suited to front of house staff and salon owners.

Special events within the courses include guest tutors from MyHairDressers.com including Stacey Broughton, Callam Warrington and Charmaine Piche, who will all be jetting in from the UK exclusively for Salon Educators.

The hairdressing courses can be taken independently by hairdressers looking to learn new styles and techniques and the hours on the courses can be credited towards City & Guilds IVQs.

Steve Turner said, “Not everyone has the time or inclination to study for City & Guilds IVQ, but hairdressers love education and we want to show them the best techniques, latest styles and new tricks. These course are designed to not only teach those things, but alos to inspire and motivate the region’s hair professions and give them the power to increase their earning potential.”
